Continue in your agent.
The Connect button asks your browser to open an installed app. Allow the browser’s “Open app” prompt, then confirm the request in your agent. Maglev will open its own sign-in page when authorization is needed.
- Claude: opens Claude Code. Run Claude Code once to register its app links. The Claude chat website does not accept local CLI connections.
- Codex: opens the desktop app with setup ready to send. The CLI option uses the app to configure your project for Codex CLI; Codex CLI itself has no supported browser launcher.
- Hermes: confirm the Maglev MCP installation in the desktop app. Sign-in opens when Hermes starts the connector. If needed, ask Hermes to connect Maglev.
- OpenClaw: requires the native app and a configured gateway. Confirm Run to let your agent install Maglev in its workspace. Remote agents may return a sign-in link to open on this device.
Installation requires Node.js 22.13 or later on the agent’s computer. A missing app or a blocked app link cannot be repaired from a web page.
Terminal-only setup
If you use Codex CLI without the desktop app, this first setup must start in your project terminal. Later sessions use the saved connection.
npx -y --package=https://trymaglev.com/assets/connect/maglev-connect-0.1.9.tgz maglev-connect --agent codexFor Claude Code, replace codex with claude. Sign-in opens automatically. Start your agent in the same folder after setup.
