Privacy policy

This policy describes information handled by Maglev’s website, developer console and manufacturing API. A separately signed confidentiality or service agreement may provide additional protections for a project.

What we collect

We receive the information you choose to provide: contact and account details, company information, manufacturing requirements, supplier interview answers, quote requests and any project files submitted through an authorized workflow. The API stores interview transcripts, extracted facts, source evidence, request history and key metadata. API key secrets are stored as cryptographic hashes.

Our hosting and security services process technical information such as IP addresses, request times, device or browser information, errors and usage. We use request information to enforce access controls, limits and abuse protections.

How we use it

We use this information to operate accounts and API access, understand manufacturing requirements, match capabilities, prepare and manage requests, provide support, protect the service and keep records of your interactions. Your designs remain yours. Maglev does not train its own models on your design files.

Who processes information

Service providers supporting hosting, databases, file storage, authentication and AI processing receive information needed for those functions. Our current infrastructure uses Cloudflare, Vercel and Neon. Interview transcripts and relevant context are sent to the configured AI provider for inference. Do not put confidential or sensitive technical information in the public sandbox.

Supplier information you confirm for publication can become a manufacturing listing. Sandbox listings are scoped to their API key. Organization listings require Maglev review before public discovery. Project information is shared with manufacturing partners only as part of the project’s approved sharing workflow. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the service and its users.

Cookies and browser storage

The landing page uses session storage to remember whether its introduction has played. It does not set advertising or cross-site profiling cookies. Account sessions use necessary authentication cookies. The console keeps a newly issued API key in browser memory during the session. External sites opened from our links have their own privacy practices.

Retention and your choices

Records are retained as needed to operate the service, support active projects, maintain security and satisfy legal or contractual requirements. Expiring or revoking an API key does not automatically delete its associated records. You can ask to access, correct or delete your information by emailing sissi@trymaglev.com. We may verify your identity and explain any records that must be retained, including backups or required business records.

We do not sell personal information. The landing page does not use cross-site advertising tracking and does not change its behavior in response to a browser’s Do Not Track setting. Information may be processed in countries where our service providers operate.
