Terms of service

These terms cover Maglev’s website, developer console and manufacturing API. Using these services means accepting these terms. A separately signed project agreement governs paid manufacturing work and takes precedence where it conflicts with these website and API terms.

What the service does

Maglev helps you discover manufacturing capabilities, collect requirements, compare available information and prepare quote requests. An API response is not a manufacturing contract, purchase order, certification, compliance determination or guarantee of delivery. Production requires a reviewed quote and the applicable approvals and agreements.

Accounts, keys and agents

Use an account and API key you are authorized to control. Keep credentials private and revoke compromised keys. You are responsible for the information and instructions submitted by your account or agent, including ensuring that you have the right to share them. Do not bypass access controls or quotas, access another customer’s records, disrupt the service or use it for unlawful activity.

Your content and permissions

You retain ownership of your designs and other submitted content. You authorize Maglev and its service providers to process the content as needed to provide the functions you request. Do not upload another party’s confidential information without permission. Sharing project files with a manufacturer requires the applicable project approvals; access to the API alone does not grant a manufacturer access to your files.

Examples, claims and pricing

Sandbox suppliers, prices, capacities and schedules are demonstration data. Supplier-provided facts and AI-generated extractions need review. A stated capability or certification claim is not independent verification. Factory estimates are indicative; Maglev fees, tooling where unspecified, shipping, duties and taxes may require separate quotation. Do not treat an omitted cost as zero.

Availability and limits

The service is under active development. Features, availability and usage limits can change. We may restrict access to protect security, investigate misuse or enforce these terms. Review AI outputs and technical requirements before relying on them for a production decision.

Privacy and project agreements

Our privacy policy explains data processing. Manufacturing scope, payment, delivery, quality requirements, confidentiality and responsibility for a particular order are established in the relevant project agreements. These website terms do not replace those agreements.
